PROPHOEM : EXHORTATION

We are leaves in the rivers of God’s love; we are otters in His joyful streams.

Often it feels we are blind passengers in a Ship of Fools, carried as cargo by uncaring crew to an unwanted destination.

Only... look on the other side, where Jesus told us to cast our nets, and all is different.

Then jump, jump exuberantly, extravagantly, with flamboyance, arms windmilling, casting aside doubt and infirmity, sense and security, pride and prejudice.

Be of good cheer, for we take the route towards the Light; and it is folly to the world, nonsense to the powerful and irresponsibility to the inhabitants of the misty flats.

The Ship of Fools heedlessly sails on, continuing its erratic course, but we find ourselves borne up by welcoming currents, warmly carried to a distant shore, beyond the fields we know.

The Spirit urges us to jump.

Jesus is the ocean of love which gives us buoyancy, and the Father with His family greets us on the other side.
