DOUBLET PSALM

Holy Father, I love you, let your will be all I do,
Holy Father, Three-in-one, hear my prayer through Your Son.
I will work and I will pray for Your Transformation Day
When You come to change Your earth, we will know what is of worth,
When You govern from Your throne, we will know as we are known,
When you come to crown Your own, You will also change our home.
We will see as we are seen and all that’s soiled will be made clean.
 
Slaughtered Jesus, sacred Son, now Your sacrifice is done,
Yesterday, today the same, we will praise Your Holy Name.

 
Oil of gladness, cloak of praise, guide us as God’s name we raise,
Fire us with Your zeal and flame as You heal the blind and lame,
As You heal the deaf and dumb, we will watch the captives run,
We will dance and we will sing and together dwell in Him.
 
Master, brother, captain, friend, King and Saviour, without end,
Let us hunger, help us thirst to always put Your interests first,
And let Your kingdom rule and reign, advancing as we claim our name,
Dominion, lordship, grace that’s free, triumph in adversity,
Dominion, wisdom, power and might, banish death to darkest night,
Forgiveness, fullness, Majesty; triumph in eternity.
 
You’re our treasure, You’re the pearl, You’re the banner we unfurl,
You’re the fragrance, You’re the feast, You’re the bread and You’re the yeast,
You’re the temple, You’re the lamb, You’re the awesome great I AM,
You’re the Lord and great High Priest, the Son that rises in the east.
You’re the bones and You’re the blood, the hand that moves in wind and flood,
You’re in sunshine and in rain, You’re the arbiter of pain,
You’re tomorrow and today and You inspire the words we pray,
You’re blazing sword and flaming spear, the fearsome God who destroys fear,
You’re the lover of each soul, You’re the pass and You’re the goal,
You’re eagle’s flight in heaven’s bare sky, and You’re the good in my goodbye,
Triune God and yet our friend, You’re our beginning and our end!
